• Donating blood just once saves three lives.

• In the world, approximately 108 million donations are made annually.

• There are about 2 million active donors in Spain.

• In a heart transplant, 20 plasma transfusions may be needed. In a hip replacement, between 6 and 8 red blood cell transfusions are necessary. For leukaemia treatment, about 200 platelet transfusions are required.

HTGROUP’s services include specialised buses which have been adapted to provide a mobile space  for extractions to transfer donations to the relevant medical centres.
